God's Word Is Truth

Jesus said so (John 17:17). To reject that is to reject Him - and to thus perish, according to Him (John 12:48-50). Those who ludicrously claim that we cannot know the truth; that Jesus did not speak the truth; or who proclaim that there is no such thing as absolute truth, call Jesus a liar (John 8:42-47). For it was Jesus Himself who said to those who had believed in Him just a few verses earlier, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31-32). Yes, absolute truth is both obtainable, knowable, and infinitely valuable.

God’s truth and God’s Son are completely inseparable. This is because Jesus is “the Word became flesh [who] dwelt among us… full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). In other words, He was the walking, talking, living, breathing, word of God incarnate. He was the human embodiment of God’s entire body of truth, all packaged up in one, physical, human body. He said as much Himself in John 14:6 when He stated: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Just as Jesus was the living, walking, talking truth and word of God, the Bible is simply the living, written, absolute truth and word of God (Hebrews 4:12-13).

Absolute Truth Exists

Now, the fact that absolute truth absolutely exists; that it is easily available and accessible to everyone; and that it will, in fact, judge us all on judgment day from the least to the greatest of us (John 12:48-50; Revelation 20:10-15), makes those who want to continue to live in the darkness of sin highly uncomfortable (John 3:18-20). Like a small child that might cover their eyes and therefore believe that they can’t be seen, some have likewise gone so far as to boldly proclaim that there is no such thing as God or absolute truth, thereby deceiving themselves into believing they won’t have to be answerable to either. One utter irony of such a statement is seen in the fact that they want us to accept as an absolute truth… their sentiment that there is no such thing! Another absolute absurdity of such a sentiment is evidenced in the fact that there is absolute truth everywhere; in the fields of science, music, medicine, and mathematics - as well as in matters religious and others. Just because one chooses to deny that there exists a definitive standard in something certainly does not make it so. An inch is always an inch, a Bb is never a G#, and what God’s word defines as right or wrong always is, has been, and will be. This is why we must always LGBT – ‘Let God be true,’ (but every man a liar - see Romans 3:4).

God's Truth Is Universal

Neither is God’s word a matter of interpretation (1 Peter 1:19-2:3), but is instead, a matter of inspiration (2 Timothy 3:16-4:4). It is also totally and completely timeless, being forever firmly fixed and settled in heaven (Ps. 119:89). There, it’s priceless and timeless truths always remain perfectly preserved, far above and beyond the reach of human intercession, intervention, interpretation, or interpolation. God will always have His way (Psalm 2:1-12). His word will always be true and come to pass (1 Kings 8:56; Matthew 24:35; Luke 24:44-47; Galatians 6:7-8). His truth will always, inevitably, and invariably be victorious over all (Revelation 19:11-16).

It is to that eternal, inerrant, victorious and unchanging truth of Almighty God that this entire website is totally and completely dedicated. As you explore the contents contained herein, you will find a small but hopefully slowly-growing number of articles; approximately fifty faithful-to-the-truth Bible studies; and hundreds of recorded audio sermons - many of which I have had the personal privilege of preparing and presenting to God’s people, as well as a few collected sermons preached by various other faithful-to-the-word gospel preachers during my tenures in Cleveland and Chouteau, Oklahoma.

But here’s the thing: Whether it is their presentations or mine, we all, as fallible men, can sometimes, despite the best of efforts and intentions, still make mistakes. None of us are perfect. That is why all of our work, just as you have already experienced in your reading of this introductory page, is heavily footnoted with Biblical references. In other words, we list Biblical, black and white, “Book, chapter, and verse,” “It is written” (Matthew 4:1-11) references, so that you can look up exactly what the truth of the word of God actually says in your own copy of the sacred text. Please do so; you owe it to your own eternal soul to do so – every time. Do not take ours or any other human preacher’s word for anything. Instead, take God’s word, and open it up, and look it up, and compare everything we say, to exactly what the Bible says (1 John 4:1-6). If the Thessalonians were commended for doing that with what the Apostle Paul taught – and they were (Acts 17:11) – then you must most assuredly do it with us and what we teach as well! We could be wrong. God, however, cannot (Hebrews 6:17-19).

A brief word of warning before proceeding: As a result of this website’s entire purpose for existence being to present the truth and nothing but the truth of the word of Almighty God (Acts 20:27), it was never designed nor intended to be politically correct, but instead, to be Biblically-correct. My top priority was never for it to be wildly popular, people pleasing, or ear-tickling, “For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:10b).

Therefore, the few (Matthew 7:14) who are diligently seeking God and who are therefore truly hungering and thirsting after His eternal truth and righteousness more than anything else on earth, should be both filled, thrilled, and fulfilled by what they discover hereupon (1 Chronicles 28:9; 2 Chronicles 15:2; Psalm 42:1, 119:1-2; Matthew 5:6; Hebrews 11:6). Unfortunately, the many who are not (Matthew 7:13), simply will not (Matthew 6:22-28; Luke 6:22-26; John 15:18-25; Romans 1:18-32; 2 Timothy 3:1-9; and etc.).

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and read this introduction. If these soul saving and eternal truths sound like something you’re interested in, then it’s time to take out your copy of the word of God and start exploring, studying, and sifting through the absolute black and white truth of the word of God that’s taught and referenced on this website. And always remember, no matter what: That if you truly believe that Jesus is indeed the Christ – the Way, the Truth, and the Life that leads to God and the very Son of the living God Himself - then you have to believe that God’s word is truth, and that man must, therefore, live by every word of it… this, because that very same Lord Jesus Christ very clearly and concisely said so (John 17:17; Matthew 4:4).

After all; seeking, finding, learning, obeying, loving and living the truth and wisdom of the word of Almighty God, is the one legitimate path to true and lasting happiness throughout this earthly life and beyond (Psalm 146:1-6; Proverbs 3:13-18, 16:20, 28:14, and 29:18). Therefore, God bless and good studying!
